Pastors James and Sandra Lilly are the founding pastors of Eagles’ Summit Christian Fellowship Church, Durham, North Carolina -- a full gospel charismatic church that preaches the word of faith and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The ministry was founded on August 26, 1992.

A graduate of Duke Divinity School, Durham North Carolina with a Masters of Divinity, and a BS degree in Business from LaSalle College, Pastor James Lilly has been described as one of Durham’s effective teacher-preachers. He possesses a gift to teach the Word of God in such a manner that enables you to readily apply the Word to your everyday situations and life challenges. It is Pastor Lilly’s ultimate mission and highest joy to see people’s lives restored and rebuilt, receive the promises and blessings of God and grow to have an intimate relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. An intense, soft-spoken gentleman, Pastor Lilly shepherds the people assigned to him with gentleness and great loving compassion, yet he leads the ministry with clear vision, direction, fortitude and uncommon leadership skills.

Pastor Lilly has great compassion for seeing lives restored and rebuilt. He also has a great passion and desire to bring a higher level of excellence into the Body of Christ through biblical instruction, Christian discipleship and leadership training.

Affectionately known as Pastor Sandy, Sandra P. Lilly is a graduate of Temple University with a BA degree in Elementary Education. In addition to her Elementary Education background, she also has a background in Accounting and Adult Education. Pastor Sandy has always been actively involved with the ministry since its inception in 1976. After teaching in the public school system for twenty-one years she answered the call to work full-time alongside her husband in the ministry.

While Pastor Sandy has a fervent desire to see all God’s people live victorious lives, she has a particular interest in ministering to the needs of women. As a result of embarking on her own personal journey of healing, she is greatly touched by the hurts of women. In 2002 she established the Women of Success Conference, held annually, where women are ministered to in all areas of their lives to become purposeful and powerful women of God.

Both Pastors James and Sandra Lilly have made significant contributions to the lives of many individuals in the area of leadership development, particularly in the urban community. Together they have effectively trained scores of men and women through a mentoring and leadership development training program entitled The Master’s Class.

Pastors James and Sandra Lilly have two daughters, Sarita and Stephanie, both of which are actively involved in the ministry.
