Pastor J.B. and Susan Whitfield answered the call to start Agape Faith Church in Clemmons, North Carolina on March 7, 1982. Through the years of ministry, God has truly blessed AFC and its vision to be a church “overflowing with love, strengthening the family, bettering the community, and affecting the world; where every member is a minister”. The church is known for its ministry of faith and victory and has a rapidly growing congregation.

Pastor Whitfield is a man who ministers the uncompromising Word of God with boldness and enthusiasm. His love for his people and his God is evident in each dynamic message he preaches. Knowing where he was before Jesus came into his life, Pastor Whitfield ministers with authority and experience on how the Word of God can and will change your life forever!

Pastor Whitfield serves on the President’s Cabinet of Jerry Savelle Ministries and he is a director of the late Dr. Lester Summerall’s “Feed The Hungry” program.

Susan Whitfield has dedicated her life to prayer. Her lifestyle of prayer has positioned her to be used by God to impart into others the gift. As Prayer Coordinator, she oversees in excess of over 50 prayer groups at AFC. Susan is also very active in assisting other churches establish their own prayer ministries.

Pastor J.B. and Susan Whitfield have four children and eight grandchildren.
